Have you ever prayed for something repeatedly and felt like heaven was silent? If so, you’re not alone. The truth is even faithful believers throughout the Bible experienced seasons when God seemed distant.
I think it’s hard for us as humans to wait for our prayers to be answered, only to find out that what we asked for wasn’t given. Many people including myself at times treat prayer like an emergency request rather than a daily conversation with God. We often turn to Him when life is falling apart, but prayer was never meant to be reserved only for our hardest moments. It was meant to be a constant connection with Him.
I have put a lot of thought into this topic, so let’s go through some reasons why we might feel unheard in our prayers to God. Tell me if any of these hit home for you as I tell you how they hit home in my own life.
